Arthroscopy and Imaging Case Conference 2020

The objective of this conference is to review the basic principles of arthroscopy and see how they apply to the imaging interpretation of musculoskeletal MRI as well as other advanced imaging technologies.

1. Recognize common sports related injuries and confidently evaluate and treat injuries based on appropriate use of advanced imaging studies in both a primary or specialty practice environment.
2. Develop a systematic approach to interpreting advanced musculoskeletal imaging studies (MRI, CT, MSK Ultrasound) and correlate findings with findings visualized at arthroscopy
3. Develop radiologist’s knowledge of arthroscopy of the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and wrist and show the relationship in terms of visualization of normal and abnormal anatomy in the diagnosis of common sports related injuries and conditions
4. Discuss advanced imaging findings allowing the attendee to use these modalities to confirm diagnoses and engage in appropriate surgical planning.
