Program allows participants to demonstrate competencies in mass casualty management. Essential training components include population scenarios discussion; mass casualty triage tabletop and situational training exercises; surge tabletop scenario for a health care facility; personal protective equipment skills performance and decontamination video review; casualty management in small groups with simulated scenarios; and emergency operations center situational training exercise.

In an effort to continue to educate staff and physicians on Culture and Belonging topics, we will be discussing the Book "Heart of a Stranger: An Unlikely Rabbi's Story of Faith, Identity and Belonging" by Angela Buchdahl. Our book discussions focus on promoting inclusion and treating people as individuals. The importance of developing curious minds to truly embrace "You are the one".
