Overview
This program will serve to elevate provider understanding of palliative medicine in their own practice and within the WellSpan system. The education provided will increase knowledge and understanding of palliative medicine. It will also engage providers to practice primary palliative skills in their own practice.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant should be able to:

  1. Identify clinical indications for patients who would benefit from a palliative medicine consult
  2. Discuss participants roles in providing primary palliative medicine to patients
  3. Describe the basic elements of a palliative medicine consultation
