Addiction Medicine Journal Club - 2025

This is a monthly forum in which we review and discuss current articles in addiction medicine. It is open to all people who work with patients with addiction, but is specifically geared towards providers (doctors, PAs, and NPs).

Monthly Topics

a. We will present 8 high-impact articles in addiction medicine that have changed our practice over the past year.

Specific Goals and Objectives

a. Participants will summarize the 8 articles presented.

b. Participants will discuss how they will use the articles in their own practices

a. Participants will discuss if the articles change their current practices.

1. Review the study design, results, and limitations of the research reviewed
2. Identify how to apply those results to current practice.
3. Discuss different perspectives of the articles from colleagues in addiction medicine.
