Overview
This class is designed to activate the people manager role within change management practice. Leaders will learn how to prepare themselves for change through a series of activities and how to lead their team through change by embodying each of the important roles for people managers during change. The Leading Your Team Through Change class provides leaders with the practical framework and tools needed to be effective change leaders.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant should be able to:

  1. Recognize the foundational change concepts.
  2. Apply the Prosci ADKAR Model.
  3. Recall best practices in change management.
  4. Describe how to prepare yourself for change.
  5. Demonstrate CLARC roles for leading your team through change.
  6. Apply effective communication and advocacy skills for change.
  7. Discuss how to manage resistance and coach employees through transition.
  8. Describe how to reinforce change as a liaison and celebrate successes.
