Overview

This will be an interactive online program geared toward hospitalists about how to treat opioid use disorder in hospitalized patients.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this presentation, the participant should be able to:

  1. Summarize how to treat opioid use disorder in the hospital with buprenorphine, methadone, and depot naltrexone
  2. Describe the resources available to support patients with opioid use disorder in the local community
  3. Discuss the appropriate referral process of patients to outpatient treatment with buprenorphine, methadone, or depot naltrexone upon hospital discharge
